Rachel Keller

RachelRachel Keller is a fictional character in The Ring film series. The fictional character of Rachel Keller was created by Ehren Kruger. Naomi Watts plays the character. Rachel must dig into the background of Samara Morgan when her son becomes ill with mysterious illnesses. Ruth asks Rachel Keller as an investigative journalist to discover the reason for Katie's death. She tells Rachel that she discovered her daughter's distorted corpse in the closet and that the cause of Katie's death was due to a heart attack in spite of Katie being healthy and healthy as a teenager. Katie's close friends recount to Rachel the tale of the legend of the cursed tape and Katie's friend Becca was taken to a hospital for witnessing Katie lose her life. Katie's boyfriend and two acquaintances died in an accident the night before at 10 at night. Rachel is on her way from Shelter Mountain Inn to Cabin 12 where Katie and her friends looked at the tape that had been cursed. Rachel uncovers the tape and then watches the tape. When the phone rings, it is. Rachel hears a voice utter "seven days". Rachel calls Noah Clay, her ex-boyfriend and a video analyst for assistance. Rachel is later informed that Aidan (her son who was with Noah) watched the tape and said that he believed in her. Rachel looks through the tape to find the lighthouse and finds it is situated on Moesko Island. This was the residence of Anna Morgan, an evil horse breeder cursed to appear on the cursed tape. Rachel uncovers that Anna was the mother of an adoptive daughter named Samara. Samara was capable of creating terrifying images in the minds of animals, humans and other objects. Rachel encounters Anna's widower Richard. He makes Rachel leave the scene as soon as she begins asking questions regarding Samara.
