Angela Kaufman
Angela Kaufman has been a writer, speaker and a certified intuitive consultant. She is also a Licensed Clinical social worker, an accredited astrologer and an activist. She's a Reiki master as well as a certified psychic medium. While in Italy Kauffman earned her name as a portrait artist. as well as historical paintings. In 1765, she was appointed to Rome's Accademia de San Luca. This proves to her success. Angelica Kauffman spent only 15 years living in England but made a significant impression on the 18th-century London art scene becoming one of two women to be Founder Members of the Royal Academy. Angelica Kauffman passed away on 5 November 1807 at the age of 66. Liz Powers, along with her brother Spencer Powers founded ArtLifting together in November of 2013. Liz has been chosen as Forbes 30 under 30 and Boston Globe Game Changers. Liz likes creating art with the pages of old books, going hiking as well as practicing yoga. She is also a lover of sailing. Moving to Rome in January 1763 Kauffman was introduced to members of the British community. As she grew in English and working on her portraiture just a few months later, the family relocated to Naples. Kauffman was a student of Old Masters there and her first work was then sent to London to be displayed in a public exhibition.
