Awkwafina
American musician and actor Awkwafina debuted with sly songs that dealt with sexual identity and race with a an incisive and humorous perspective, before broadening her reach to Hollywood. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants was her first music experience. She was a trumpet player. Jazz, classical and hip-hop studies began when she was just a teenager. After concentrating on education, she was awarded the degree of journalist in college and a women's studies major. However, it wasn't until she graduated when she decided to turn her attention to music. Following her viral success through the Internet the song My Vag was a reaction to the song of Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually was included on her debut album Yellow Ranger. It also contained popular hits that went viral, such as body positive Queef or winking hometown tour NYC Bitche$. The latter song was linked directly with another Awkwafina project NYC Travel Guide, which was published in 2015. The resume of her included author and musician. Now she was looking to further her career in acting. Her film credits include films including Neighbors 2, Storks as well as Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered several notable performances, which included Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. This June, she released her new EP "In Fina We Trust".
